Graphic Tee Size Guide

Most returns on printed t-shirts happen because someone ordered their usual letter size without checking what that letter actually means on that garment. Two minutes with a tape measure removes the guesswork.

How to measure yourself

Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and not pulling it tight. Halve that number to compare against the flat chest width listed on our product pages.

Body length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

Easier alternative: take a t-shirt you already own and like the fit of, lay it flat, and measure it. Compare those numbers to the chart. This is the most reliable method there is.

Reading our measurements

Chest width is measured flat, across the garment one inch below the armhole — so a 20 inch chest width equals a 40 inch garment circumference. Body length runs from the high point of the shoulder to the hem.

How the fits differ

• Standard unisex: straight body, set-in sleeve, shoulder seam at the shoulder edge. Order your usual size.
• Oversized: wider body relative to length, dropped shoulder seam on the upper arm. Already cut large — order your usual size. See oversized graphic tees.
• Fitted / women's: shaped through the waist, narrower shoulder. True to size.
• Cropped: shorter body, hem at or above the natural waist. See cropped graphic tees.
• Tall: around two inches extra body and sleeve length at the same width. See big and tall.

Unisex sizing if you normally wear women's sizes

Unisex follows a men's cut — straighter through the waist, wider at the shoulder. For a fitted look, order one size down from your usual. For a relaxed, borrowed fit, keep your size. For genuinely oversized, go one up.

Youth and toddler sizing

Age labels are a rough guide only, since children vary widely at the same age. Use the chest and length measurements on the product page. If a child is between sizes or growing fast, size up one — see kids' graphic tees.

Frequently asked questions

Should I size up in a graphic tee?

Only if you want a looser fit than standard, or if you plan to tumble dry on high heat. Oversized styles are already cut large, so no.

How much do graphic tees shrink?

Around 3-5% in length on cotton, mostly on a first hot wash. Cold washing and low-heat drying keeps it close to zero.

What if I am between two sizes?

Take the larger size for a relaxed fit, the smaller for a fitted one. If you are buying it as a gift, take the larger.

Do all designs come in every size?
