What we collect
When you visit the site. Device and browser information, IP address, time zone, pages viewed, referring site, and how you interact with the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
When you order. Name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment details. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment providers — we never see or store your full card number.
When you contact us or subscribe. Your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

- Email and analytics providers, where you have consented
- Authorities, where we're legally required to disclose information
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our products are produced and shipped from the United States, so your name and delivery address are transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept for 2 years.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email contact@thejoyfulgiftgrove.com. We respond within one month.
If you believe we've handled your data improperly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the store — keeping your cart, remembering your session, and securing checkout — as well as optional analytics and marketing cookies. You can manage optional cookies through the banner on the site or your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will stop checkout from working.
Children
Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Automated decision-making
